Pray Fearlessly

Praying Fearlessly

The Fearless 5 believe that pray is quintessential piece to living fearlessly. We love the the verse Romans 12:12, “Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.”

Jesus is our life source. We know all things were made through Him (John 1:1-5). In addition to studying God’s word, the best way to connecting to our life source is to talk to Him, through prayer!

We invite you to take a look at the different devotionals we have below. We are growing in our own understanding of prayer, so keep checking back as we update this page!

30 Day Fearless Devotional

Praying Fearlessly

I am sure that many of you are like me and have daily battles to overcome and sometimes anxiousness and doubt consume our ability to move forward during these challenging times. Where do you get your strength when the vacuum of life sucks you in? There is a recipe for strength in Psalm 27 that outlines how to become fearless.
Do you want to become fearless? Do you want to face your day with hope and strength?  David gives us the perfect recipe on how to become fearless.

David had many of the same battles that we all do, he had so many things to fear, enemies and foes coming “to devour” his flesh; rejection, wars wages, against him; even the threat of separation within his family. In the midst of all these obstacles, David had a resolution that all of us can adopt. His answer wasn’t to take matters into his own hands and create solutions. It wasn’t to recruit more soldiers for his army, or to curl up in a corner and decide to quit.

David’s answer on how to become fearless was to seek the Lord. In Psalm 27:4, David desired, “to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple. “This simple gesture of gazing on the beauty of the Lord provided rest to David in his time of turbulence. We too can choose to find that same calmness by seeking out God in prayer, that is where and how we will receive the strength and guidance we need to move freely and fearlessly forward. David is confirming that, the Lord is the stronghold of his life-“of whom shall I be afraid?” No matter what the outcome, David proclaimed his confidence in the Lord. How about you? Do you fearlessly, “Seek his face!” Do you ask the Lord to teach you and lead your paths straight? Can you fearlessly let go and “wait for the Lord” ? (Psalm 27:14)
